Prairie School of art inspires artistic growth and confidence in a nuturing atmosphere. Children's literature, art history and art appreciation are an integral part of the curriculum., It was founded in 1999. Prairie School of Art offers a variety of classes for pre - school, school age and adult students. The sessions have themes but students may be inspired by the theme to create other works., The teacher, Peggy Fitzgerald, holds a Masters degree in Education and an MFA in Printmaking. She has been teaching art for over twenty years. Peggy believes that art is found in all paths of life. Her curriculum integrates science, math, history and literature into the art program.
