We have extensive experience providing legal services to clients who develop and operate low income housing. In our capacity as Project Attorneys for several HUD Section 202 (elderly persons) and 811 (physically disabled persons) projects we have interfaced with HUD counsel, HUD consultants, as well as other state and federal authorities necessary to form corporations, secure their tax-exempt status and we have prepared extensive documentation required by HUD to arrive at their initial closing. In addition to our experience in HUD transactions, we have also served as real estate attorney for many developments that are being funded through the Federal Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program.
